Ameya was very clear about his expectations. Since he was a premium member, he immediately contacted Shruti as her profile in MarathiMatrimony met all his expectations. Shruti says, "We met within a week after having a phone conversation. It was a bit weird initially and our conversations were filled with many awkward silences. But now, it is the other way round," she laughs with a smile.

Shruti had planned out everything in detail for her wedding shopping. She was also very specific about the colour coordination with Ameya.

The lovely couple preferred a simple wedding by following all the traditional rituals. He says, "It was a very special day for both of us. All our friends and family members gathered to celebrate our union." She adds, "I was a bit emotional when I was about to leave my home. Recollecting all the memories from my childhood with my parents made me cry but Ameya comforted me and made me smile. At that moment, I felt that I had made the right decision to marry him."

Most of their weekends are occupied with watching movies and exploring new places. "We also meet our friends regularly and Shruti loves fast food. We love to eat different types of food," says Ameya.

He concludes by saying, "We fell in love gradually. All the little things we did together made us realise that we are made for each other."
